Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 2026  ·  Applies to gochemserve.com and all Chemserve digital platforms

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to work more efficiently, and to provide information to website operators.

Cookies may be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain on your device for a set period or until manually deleted). They may be set by us (first-party cookies) or by third-party services we use (third-party cookies).

2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies to:

  • Ensure the website functions correctly (essential operation)
  • Remember your preferences during a browsing session
  • Protect our contact forms from spam and abuse via Google reCAPTCHA
  • Understand how visitors navigate and use our website (analytics — where enabled)

We do not currently use marketing, advertising, or tracking cookies from third-party ad networks. If we introduce these in the future, this policy will be updated and a consent mechanism will be implemented (see Section 5).

Note: This table reflects cookies currently in use. As we add features or plugins, this table will be updated.

4. Google reCAPTCHA

Our contact forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3 (or v2 checkbox), a service provided by Google LLC. reCAPTCHA analyses visitor behaviour to determine whether an interaction is human or automated, helping us prevent spam and abuse.

reCAPTCHA Data Collection

Service: Google reCAPTCHA

Provider: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA

What it collects: IP address, browser information, device information, mouse movements and interaction patterns, cookies (_GRECAPTCHA, rc::a/b/c), and visit duration

Purpose: Bot and spam detection on contact forms

Data transferred to: USA (Google servers). Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and relevant international transfer mechanisms.

Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Google's Terms of Service: policies.google.com/terms

By using our contact forms, you consent to the processing of your data by Google reCAPTCHA for the purpose of spam prevention. If you do not wish to have your data processed by reCAPTCHA, you may contact us directly by email at info@gochemserve.com instead of using our web form.

🇦🇪 UAE

Under the UAE PDPL, the use of Google reCAPTCHA constitutes an international data transfer to the United States. We rely on Google's standard contractual commitments and Privacy Shield successor frameworks as the transfer mechanism. Google LLC processes this data as a data processor acting on our instruction for spam prevention purposes only.

5. Future Cookie Use

We may introduce the following types of cookies in the future as our digital marketing activities develop. We will update this policy and implement an appropriate consent mechanism before any such cookies are activated.

📊 Analytics Cookies (Planned)
We may introduce Google Analytics or a privacy-friendly alternative (such as Matomo or Plausible) to better understand how visitors use our website. Analytics cookies would collect anonymised data on page views, session duration, traffic sources, and device types. No personally identifiable information would be associated with analytics data.
📣 Marketing & Advertising Cookies (Possible Future Use)
We may in the future use cookies from platforms such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), or LinkedIn to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and to serve relevant content to users who have visited our website. These would include retargeting and conversion tracking cookies.

Before any marketing cookies are activated:
  • This Cookie Policy will be updated to list them explicitly
  • A cookie consent banner (e.g. via CookieYes plugin) will be implemented to obtain prior consent from visitors in jurisdictions where consent is required
  • Users will be able to accept or decline non-essential cookies separately
Cookie Category Current Status Consent Required
Essential (WordPress, CF7) ✅ Active No — required for basic operation
Functional (reCAPTCHA) ✅ Active Legitimate interest / form use consent
Analytics ⏳ Not yet active Yes — will require consent banner when added
Marketing / Advertising ⏳ Not yet active Yes — explicit opt-in consent required

6. Managing Your Cookies

You can control and manage cookies in several ways:

Browser Settings

Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or be notified when cookies are set. Use the links below for instructions for your browser:

Opting Out of Google reCAPTCHA

reCAPTCHA is tied to the use of our contact forms. If you prefer not to use reCAPTCHA, contact us directly by email at info@gochemserve.com.

Effect of Disabling Cookies

Disabling essential cookies may affect how the website functions. Disabling reCAPTCHA-related cookies may prevent you from submitting contact forms. Disabling analytics or marketing cookies (once active) will not affect your ability to use the website.

7. Regional Requirements

🇵🇰 Pakistan

Pakistan does not currently have a dedicated standalone cookie consent law. Our cookie use is governed by the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 (PECA) and PTA data protection guidelines. We disclose all cookies through this policy and rely on implied consent for essential and functional cookies. When analytics or marketing cookies are introduced, we will implement an explicit consent mechanism.

🇦🇪 UAE

Under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL), cookies that process personal data require disclosure and an appropriate legal basis. We rely on legitimate interest for essential and security-related cookies (reCAPTCHA). For analytics and marketing cookies — when introduced — we will seek prior explicit consent through a consent banner compliant with UAE PDPL requirements. Data collected through third-party cookies (such as Google reCAPTCHA) may be transferred outside the UAE; this is disclosed in Section 4 above.

8. Changes to This Policy

We will update this Cookie Policy whenever we add, remove, or change the cookies used on this website. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the most recent change was made.

We recommend reviewing this page periodically, especially if you are a regular visitor. Continued use of the website following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
